The history of VistaVet Veterinary Clinic

With a clear vision and an unwavering commitment to animal welfare, the history of VistaVet goes back to the first steps of Dr. Christian Wiesner, who, after completing his studies at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, embarked on a journey that would lead him to establish a unique veterinary clinic on the Mediterranean coast.

After years of experience working as a veterinarian in Spain, Hong Kong and Austria, Dr. Wiesner decided to settle in Spain with the goal of creating a clinic that could serve the needs of an international clientele and their beloved pets. In 2007, that dream became a reality with the opening of VistaVet International Veterinary Clinic in La Nucia, Alicante.

Since its modest beginnings, VistaVet has doubled in size, becoming a center of reference for a growing community of clients from Spain and around the world. Clients from countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Russia and more rely on VistaVet to provide quality veterinary care for their pets.

Thanks to this expansion, VistaVet has invested in new state-of-the-art technical equipment, and the staff has expanded to include professionals specialized in nursing, veterinary and grooming. Throughout the years, the clinic’s main goal has remained constant: to provide pets with optimal medical treatment, clearly explained in their owners’ preferred language to ensure smooth communication.
